We are looking for a Meetings & Events Sales Agent to join our team, where you'll play a crucial role in managing event bookings, maximising revenue, and providing outstanding guest service.
You will often be the first point of contact with our guests - taking them from first enquiry through to contracting. You will need to be comfortable engaging with guests on the phone, via email and face to face in the hotel.
We offer Meetings and Events in all shapes and sizes - from 2 to 100 guests, including business meetings, weddings, and private events.
This role is predominantly office-based in the hotel, working Monday to Friday, mainly dealing with direct enquiries, with potential to expand into direct sales calls as the business needs.

What You'll Be Doing as Meetings and Events Agent
* Providing top-quality customer service
* Working as part of a dynamic and supportive team
* Taking enquiries and bookings via telephone and online
* Processing, amending, and updating bookings as required
* Conducting hotel tours for new and prospective guests
* Developing lasting relationships with clients and generating repeat business
* Maximising revenue through upselling, including food & beverage packages, meeting room hire, and accommodation bookings
* Utilizing administration and technology tools such as Opera and Salesforce
