About the Role
We’re seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities across the aerosol and refinishing industry. This is a hands-on, target-driven position where you’ll develop a strong sales pipeline, engage with potential clients, and build trust with key stakeholders to grow our presence in new markets.
What You’ll Do
* Identify new business opportunities—including emerging markets, trends, customers, and services.
* Develop and maintain a structured sales pipeline using SharePoint.
* Lead the onboarding of new business in line with strategic objectives.
* Actively engage with clients via meetings, calls, and video conferencing.
* Record and report on all client visits and interactions.
* Build and sustain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients.
* Conduct customer needs assessments and deliver tailored plans to meet expectations.
* Maintain and leverage a customer database for targeted campaigns.
* Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis.
* Manage a smooth transition of new accounts after initial development.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in business development, preferably within the aerosol or refinishing sectors.
* Strong technical knowledge of product ranges and the ability to present them confidently.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
* Strategic awareness with excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Confident decision-maker with a proactive, professional mindset.
* Strong relationship builder with the ability to influence and mobilise resources effectively.
