Legal Cashier – Brighton
We're looking for a Legal Cashier to join a friendly and diverse finance team in the heart of Brighton.
This role will suit someone with prior experience in legal accounts who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team. You'll be organised, self-motivated, and confident in communicating across the firm.
What you'll be doing:
• Managing client accounts in line with SRA rules
• Handling electronic payments (CHAPS, BACS, FPS), receipts, transfers, cheques and cash banking
• Posting expenses (fees, travel, etc.)
• Processing invoices, including Land Registry and Infotrack
• Supporting with filing and general finance admin
What we're looking for:
• Strong knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Experience with Indigo is an advantage (but not essential)
• A proactive approach and attention to detail
The package:
• Salary: £35,000
• Location: Brighton (central office)
• Hybrid working is available after probation
• Immediate start preferred
