Are you a Paint Shop Supervisor or similar looking to join a market leading company with an excellent benefits package?
This company plays a vital role within wider group operations as a rapidly growing Aerospace non-automated Surface Treatments facility. This NadCap approved facility provides essential surface treatments, anodising, mask and paint finish and NDT to both the wider group and its own dedicated customer base. Following a large investment in 2019, they have continually diversified, offering an extremely efficient and professional service to all clients.
This role will see the suitable candidate prepare and paint a variety of jobs in the department, whilst setting out the team's work schedules to achieve quality work within client deadlines. The right individual will have experience leading a team and extensive experience within a paint shop.
The Role:
1. Complete daily paint logs
2. Ensure that all job packs have been fully stamped and address any inconsistencies in this discipline
3. Organise all Paint Sprayer's work schedules alongside the Site Supervisor to ensure the achievement of customer deadlines
4. Manage and resolve any quality-related queries
5. Carry out paint stock checks ensuring paint is in date, first in first out is adhered to and liaise with the Site Supervisor to replenish stock when required
6. Act as the single point of contact during audits and participate in any paint-related activity
7. Ensure the continuous improvement focus and assist the Site Supervisor with any potential quality-related improvements
The Person:
1. Proven experience within a paint shop
2. Proven experience within a leadership role
