Are you an experienced and proactive Part-Time Bookkeeper looking to join a close-knit team on a 3-month fixed-term contract, 20 hours per week, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate?
This is an ideal position for someone looking for flexible, part-time hours while contributing to the smooth financial operations of a friendly and collaborative business. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting tasks using Xero.
Key Responsibilities
* Update and maintain accurate financial records
* Prepare quarterly VAT returns
* Monthly CIS returns
* Complete bank reconciliations
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
* Manage financial analysis reports
* Liaise with external accountants
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Key Skills
* AAT or ACCA Part-qualified with experience in a similar role
* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and financial analysis)
* Previous experience using Xero
* Strong relationship management skills
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills with the ability to present to stakeholders
