The School and Role
A well-regarded, Ofsted-rated 'Good' primary school in Northampton is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time role will run for the academic year and includes full teaching responsibilities. The school offers a welcoming, supportive environment with a strong focus on staff wellbeing and pupil progress. The successful teacher will lead a Key Stage 1 classroom, delivering the curriculum and supporting children through a key transition year. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
Requirements
The desired Year 2 Teacher will have:
1. UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Experience teaching in UK primary schools, ideally in Key Stage 1
3. Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and SATs preparation
4. Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
5. A positive, proactive, and professional approach to teaching
