Description
As a Payroll Advisor, you'll be at the heart of ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time - every time. You'll manage end-to-end payroll processing across weekly, four-weekly, and monthly cycles, handling everything from timesheets and BACS payments to HMRC submissions and pension uploads.
Day to day, you'll:
Deliver accurate and timely payroll processing for multiple cycles
Handle payroll queries and statutory payments, ensuring compliance with legislation
Upload payslips, pension files, and employee data in line with GDPR requirements
Conduct payroll checks, reconciliations, and resolve any discrepancies
Collaborate with internal teams to drive process improvements and support wider business initiativesThis is a role where your accuracy, organisation, and proactive mindset will really shine. You'll be part of a friendly, knowledgeable team that values open communication and continuous learning.
Profile
You'll have solid experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally across varied pay frequencies, and a strong understanding of PAYE, NI, pensions, and statutory payments. A confident communicator with a keen eye for detail, you'll enjoy problem-solving and making sure every 'i' is dotted and every 't' is crossed. Experience with payroll systems and Excel will be key, as will your ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
