Environmental & Sustainability Manager – Sizewell CThe OpportunityReporting to the Head of Site Compliance, you will provide environmental and sustainability leadership across the SZC site and supply chain, ensuring full compliance with environmental permits, licences, and regulatory commitments.You’ll play a key role in driving environmental culture, managing risk, and working closely with regulators, Tier 1 contractors, and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage environmental & sustainability activities across siteEnsure compliance with environmental permits, consents, and licencesDrive best-in-class environmental behaviour across SZC and the supply chainMaintain ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System complianceLead engagement with regulators, particularly the Environment AgencyOversee environmental inspections, surveillance, KPIs, and reportingInvestigate environmental events and deliver performance improvementsIdentify and mitigate significant environmental risks and impactsBuild strong relationships with contractors, regulators, and stakeholdersWhat We’re Looking ForDegree in an environmental or sustainability-related disciplineExtensive experience leading E&S teams on large, complex construction or infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of environmental permits, licences, and regulatory frameworksProven experience working with regulators in highly regulated environmentsBroad construction lifecycle knowledge (civils, mechanical, electrical, completions)Confident leader with strong influencing and communication skillsExperience with ISO 14001 and environmental management systemsBackground in major infrastructure, energy, nuclear, or similarly regulated sectorsInterested or know someone who might be?
