We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join team, working in a lovely nursery in Caversham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality childcare and early education in a warm, nurturing environment where children can thrive.
About the Role
As a Level 3 Practitioner, you will:
* Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children, adhering to room ratios and policies
* Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities
* Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, ensuring detailed, quality record keeping
* Work as part of a positive and professional nursery team, providing an active involvement in staff meetings
* Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are always maintained, completing risk assessments, hazard logs and documentation as required
* Oversee the settling in of new children, liaising closely with caregivers and fellow staff members to ensure a smooth transition
Requirements
* Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification – this is essential
* Good understanding of the EYFS framework
* Previous nursery or childcare experience
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Paediatric First Aid qualification desirable but not essential
