As a Telemarketer you will develop your insurance knowledge, giving you the foundation to launch your insurance career in broking, claims or underwriting.
Please note this is a full-time, permanent opportunity. You will be based in our Croydon office and ideally be onsite for 2 days per week on average. During training you will be required to come into the office Monday to Friday.
Overview
1. Interacting with potential clients via telephone and e-mail to promote the suite of insurance we offer.
2. Attending conferences to help build our brand awareness and business opportunities.
3. Promoting Howden product range to prospective and lapsed clients.
4. Enter and update customer information in our database.
5. Booking high-quality appointments for our executives to follow up.
6. Educating prospects about who we are and the value we bring.
7. Building a strong pipeline of leads.
8. Compile meeting notes and file recordings.
About you:
9. You will be tenacious and enjoy working towards targets as you will be speaking with clients to develop new business meeting and generated opportunities for the Account Handlers.
10. You may currently be working in a lead generation/sales role and are now looking for a career. We don’t require any previous experience as we offer on-site training, workshops, coaching and will support you through industry qualifications.
11. You will be resilient and have an entrepreneurial mindset, as you will be working closely with management to plan campaigns that maximise new business opportunities and drive lead generation activity.
12. You will be ambitious. We promote within, everyone in a leadership position started out as an Account Handler - We give you all the tools, all we ask from you is the desire to succeed.
Knowledge
13. Previous experience in retail, customer services, sales or a call centre background is desirable.
Qualifications
14. GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
