Job Description:
Manpower is currently seeking an On-site Enterprise Scheduling Coordinator (self-employed) based in Cambridge. Our client supports discoveries that improve quality of life by providing instruments, services, consumables, and expertise to laboratories worldwide. They collaborate with a leading UK pharmaceutical company and require a qualified individual to manage vendor engineers for on-site maintenance, maintain service schedules, and ensure customer satisfaction.
The role involves planning and scheduling engineers, managing service plans, building customer relationships, coordinating engineer visits, and handling administrative duties such as quotations, purchase orders, and reports. The candidate will monitor performance metrics, respond to customer queries, manage assets, schedule training, supervise costs, and solve complex problems across departments.
Main responsibilities include:
* Delivering high customer satisfaction on a fast-paced site.
* Initiating engineer visits, including PPE and certification checks.
* Planning and escorting engineers for maintenance activities.
* Managing and updating service schedules.
* Building customer relationships and communicating effectively.
* Handling contract and customer queries.
* Performing administrative tasks related to logistics and costs.
* Monitoring maintenance and repair performance metrics.
* Responding to queries via phone, email, or onsite.
* Managing customer assets and inventories.
* Running reports and maintaining system data.
* Scheduling inductions and onsite training.
* Supervising costs and preparing financial reports.
* Solving complex, multi-departmental problems.
Qualifications:
* Experience in administrative, scheduling, or customer service roles.
* Degree in Life Science or Technical field is advantageous.
* Proficiency in English.
* Experience in laboratory environments and GMP is a plus.
* Autonomous, customer-focused, team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
This position is ongoing, with an immediate start, working self-employed from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, at £22 per hour depending on experience.
