If you've come from a sporting background, chances are you're already confident leading others, staying composed under pressure, and working as part of a team. Those skills are hugely valuable in schools. We're currently supporting a number of secondary schools across Fleet and the surrounding areas, who are looking for motivated and energetic Sports Graduates to work as Cover Supervisors. No classroom experience? That's absolutely fine. You don't need a teaching background to succeed in this role. We're looking for people with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the confidence to lead a classroom. Full training and support will be provided before you begin. As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into lessons when teachers are unavailable and help maintain a productive learning environment. Your role will include: - Supervising lessons using pre-prepared work - Keeping students focused and engaged - Managing behaviour calmly and confidently - Following school systems and routines - Providing feedback to teaching staff after lessons It's a varied role that suits people who enjoy working in fast-paced, people-focused environments. Many of the qualities developed through sport naturally transfer into the classroom, including: - Leadership and teamwork - Resilience and adaptability - Confidence speaking to groups - Motivating and encouraging others - Staying calm in challenging situations Whether you've studied Sports Science, coached teams, or simply enjoy active environments, this role can be a brilliant way to gain experience and build transferable skills. This role is often used as a stepping stone into teacher training.
