About the Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will have experience with food preparation and catering, following Health and Safety and Food Standard regulations. You will monitor and maintain kitchen cleanliness, including washing up crockery and utensils as required.

About You
* Ability to manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels.
* Act as a link between the main kitchen and residents.
* Assist chefs with plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and maintaining cleanliness in preparation areas.
* Genuine interest in working in a care home environment.
* Previous experience in a Care Home is desirable but not essential.
* Organized and committed.
* Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
* Flexible to work shifts.

Located in Auchinleck, East Ayrshire, Glennie House is a purpose-built 52-bed care home offering nursing, residential, and dementia care.
