Location Chelmsford
We are looking for a Contractor Liaison Co-ordinator for a 15 month FTC, where you will undertake effective coordination of repairs and maintenance works, administrative duties and financial and statistical functions in support of all repairs and maintenance contractors providing excellent planned maintenance, responsive repairs, empty homes, compliance and grounds services to all of our customers. Liaise with colleagues across CHP to achieve excellent customer service, meet business objectives and provide an effective support service to all Operations team.
What you'll be doing
Liaise with approved contractors to co-ordinate resources to ensure that the right number of people with the right skills are in place to achieve business objectives.
Effectively support the scheduling of works, projects and inspections, logistics, equipment and waste clearance to maximise the efficient use of resources, improve productivity and provide an excellent service to customers.
Co-ordinate with all teams to ensure there is enough contactor resource to manage the work demands.
Liaise with Contracts Manager (Responsive Repairs Contractors), Operational Supervisors, contractors, Planners, CRC and customers to provide information and support to them as required.
Act as an ambassador to live CHP’s values, taking appropriate action to ensure that customers are well informed and feel safe in their homes, by collecting property data, checking customer details and providing appropriate customer advice and support.
What we are looking for
Experience of office systems and procedures, ideally in a repairs reporting, maintenance or scheduling role.
High level of computer literacy including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Ability to analyse numerical data and create reports to meet business requirements.
Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
Self-motivation with the ability to use own initiative.
Please note the office expectancy of this role is as follows: This role requires you in the office a minimum of 3 days a week, preferred days Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Initially you may be expected in full time for the training period.
