Overview
Production Maintenance Engineer – Sittingbourne. Hours: Rotating shifts, Monday to Friday. We’re looking for a skilled Production Maintenance Engineer to join a busy team. You’ll take charge of keeping production equipment running smoothly, carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and helping improve machine performance.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair production equipment.
* Develop and follow preventative maintenance schedules.
* Troubleshoot faults and minimise downtime.
* Keep accurate maintenance records and manage essential spare parts.
* Work safely and ensure all equipment meets health & safety standards.
* Support training of new team members and assist during absences or peak periods.
Skills & experience
* Engineering apprenticeship or HNC.
* Multi-skilled in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
* 3+ years' experience in a maintenance team.
* Knowledge of pneumatic systems and industrial automation.
* Desirable: experience with robot programming
