What we’re looking for…
We’re seeking an in-house Commercial Counsel to assist our General Counsel by providing practical legal support and advice across all business areas. You will help improve legal and regulatory compliance and reduce corporate risks.
Your responsibilities will include…
* Providing legal support to departments such as commercial, IT, supply chain, procurement, international, and HR.
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including supplier, customer, sponsorship, and IT contracts.
* Driving continuous improvement in legal strategies and processes, focusing on contracts, anti-bribery, data protection, and competition law.
* Managing and protecting our IP portfolio.
* Advising on legislative and regulatory developments, especially related to marketing and R&D for soft drinks packaging and marketing.
* Supporting the approval of promotional activities like prize draws and competitions.
What you’ll bring…
* Experience in commercial contracts.
* IP experience is advantageous but not essential.
* LL.B Degree in Scots Law.
* Post-graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
* Completed a two-year training contract with a Scottish law firm and admitted to the Roll of Solicitors, or equivalent qualifications.
