Senior Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary:
To lead and manage all procurement, stores and logistics functions across Castle Air UK and overseas bases, ensuring full regulatory compliance, cost-effective procurement, optimal stock availability, and strong operational support to maintenance and flight operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, manage, and develop all Stores and Supply Chain staff, fostering teamwork and high performance.
2. Define departmental objectives, KPIs, and performance standards.
3. Ensure adequate resourcing, training (Aerotrac, regulatory), succession planning, and competency management.
4. Act as primary escalation point for supply chain issues (AOG, vendor failures, logistics delays).
5. Oversee all purchasing activities: parts, consumables, tooling, GSE, and contracted services.
6. Manage supplier selection, negotiation, contract management, and performance evaluation.
7. Develop procurement strategies to reduce cost, improve lead times, and manage risks.
8. Support aircraft teardown, part-out, storage, preservation, and part-sales processes.
9. Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, repair vendors, and partners.
10. Ensure all stores are fully Part 145 compliant, including storage conditions, segregation, and traceability.
