Avalon Housing are working in partnership with a local authority in their acquisition of a new ASB Officer for the Council. The Opportunity We are looking for ASB Officer who will work in a community of about 5,000 units on a full-time basis. It’s a hybrid post, working 1-2 days from home, with a caseload in the region of 25-30. The successful candidate will: * Be the go-to person in the council for all issues ASB, taking on a caseload and dealing with everything from neighbour disputes to serious breaches such as harassment, violence, and drug-related activity * Prepare witness statements, gathering evidence, and working with legal teams to progress cases through court * Support victims and witnesses throughout the process, ensuring they feel safe and supported * Conduct interviews, home visits, and site inspections as part of investigations * Work closely with the police, local authorities, and other partners to take joint action where necessary * Take swift enforcement action, including issuing warnings, injunctions, and possession proceedings What’s being offered for the ASB Officer position? * Circa £34,000 per annum * A fantastic working environment with a true community feel * Hybrid working What are the Council looking for from ASB Officer applicants? * Experience as an ASB Officer or a Housing Officer * A willingness to upskill and become the main point of focus on all things community safety Please apply for this role online or contact Matt Baird at Avalon Housing for a confidential discussion.
