Apprentice Simulator Technician

POSITION PURPOSE: Maintain Training Devices to regulatory and company standards, ensuring that Devices are ready for training and Training Centre Customers are provided with professional technical support.
RESPONSIBILITIES: (Under Supervision)
1. Performs pre-flight tasks;
2. Performs preventative maintenance functions;
3. Conducts troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities on training devices;
4. Performs training device updates (Software and Hardware);
5. Ensures documentation procedures are completed;
6. Provides total customer support service, that can include accompanying customers through instructor station training and during dry training operations

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
12. Mathematics, English, Science; GCSE A-C or equivalent
13. Interest in aviation would be an advantage.
