Wraparound Club Assistant
Location: Richard Lee Primary School
Hours: 3:20pm-6pm
Salary: Grade 2, Point 2 - £7,406 based on hours worked (FTE £23,656)
Richard Lee Primary School is looking for a caring and energetic After School Club Assistant to join our team and help deliver a fun, safe, and stimulating environment for our children after the school day ends.
Working as part of a small team, you will support play activities, supervise children aged 4-11, help prepare snacks, and promote positive behaviour and well-being. This is an ideal role for someone with childcare experience or looking to start a career in education or play work.
We are looking for someone who: -
•Experience working with children in a play, school, or childcare setting (desirable).
•A relevant childcare or play work qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3) is an advantage.
•Basic knowledge of safeguarding and first aid (training can be provided).
•A genuine interest in child development and play.
•Knowledge of safeguarding, first aid, and health & safety procedures.
