Project Manager – Marine (Contract – 3 to 6 Months)

An established marine engineering and ship-repair organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of high-volume, short-duration and technically complex repair and upgrade projects.
This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced marine environment, working closely with internal teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure safe, efficient and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple short-cycle projects (typically around 1 month) with high technical complexity.
* Oversee dry-dock repair and upgrade work from planning through to completion.
* Coordinate internal engineering teams, subcontractors and client stakeholders.
* Lead scheduling, budgeting, reporting, risk management and problem-solving activities.
* Maintain safety, quality and regulatory compliance across all project phases.
Experience & Background
* Proven background as a Project Manager within marine, ship repair, dry-dock, offshore, or oil & gas sectors.
* Applicants from construction backgrounds will also be considered if experienced in complex, engineering-driven projects.
* Strong communication and contractor-management skills.
* Ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects under tight timelines.

* Duration: 3–6 months (potential extension)
* Day Rate: Negotiable
* Location: Ideally based at or able to commute to Greenock
