About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Business Development & Capture Manager to help drive growth and secure new opportunities within the Cyber & Intelligence sector. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, you’ll lead the identification, qualification, and execution of capture strategies, build relationships with key stakeholders, and shape winning proposals for high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the full business development and capture management lifecycle for assigned opportunities.
* Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in collaboration with the Head of BD.
* Manage opportunities through internal gate reviews and governance processes.
* Build strong internal partnerships to deliver compelling, cost-effective capture plans.
* Develop business cases to justify investment and improve win probability (Pwin).
* Establish and manage partnerships with industry stakeholders to strengthen bids.
* Lead or contribute to capture and proposal activities, growth strategies, and customer engagement.
* Act as Capture Manager on strategic opportunities, ensuring alignment across teams and customers.
* Support regular new business and pipeline reviews.
What We’re Looking For
* 5+ years’ experience in business development, capture, or sales within defence, security, or government sectors.
* Strong track record of securing new business and achieving growth targets.
* Proven ability to develop and execute capture strategies and winning proposals.
* Familiarity with Shipley Associates Business Development methodologies (preferred).
* Eligible to obtain and maintain UK Government Security Clearance (SC).
