Overview:
Global University Systems (GUS) is seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded leader to scale its online education business. This high-impact role is responsible for driving profitable growth across global markets, delivering innovative, scalable learning experiences, and leveraging both organic and inorganic levers for expansion.
The successful candidate will combine deep expertise in digital education, commercial strategy, and operational execution, with a strong focus on margin performance and student experience. A forward-thinking approach to innovation such as gamification, immersive content, and new learner engagement models is key.
Key Priorities:
* Lead the design and execution of a digital product roadmap aligned with market demand and institutional strategy
* Drive profitable growth, with a strong focus on EBITDA and ROI
* Evolve the online learner experience through gamification, data insights, and platform optimisation
* Partner with the CIO to identify and evaluate inorganic growth opportunities, including acquisitions and partnerships
* Collaborate with institutional stakeholders to align online education with broader business goals
Essential Experience:
* Proven success scaling digital education or platform-based businesses
* Strong commercial acumen and experience delivering EBITDA-positive growth
* Knowledge of online learning technologies, gamification, digital marketing, and learner behaviour
* Exposure to M&A, strategic partnerships, or inorganic growth initiatives
