We are working with a global manufacturing business in their search for a commercially astute and internationally experienced consumer focussed Senior Legal Counsel to support the transformation of the global legal function. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across the business, providing pragmatic and business-focused legal advice while helping to drive growth and ensure compliance across global operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions.
* Support the transformation of the legal function by contributing to the development of improved systems, processes, and digital tools.
* Partner with leadership teams and business functions (operations, supply chain, sales, marketing) to enable strategic objectives and manage legal risks.
* Advise on complex commercial contracts, regulatory frameworks, and significant projects/transactions.
* Ensure governance and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
* Proactively identify legal and compliance risks and propose pragmatic, business-oriented solutions.
* Build effective relationships with external stakeholders including regulators, external counsel, and industry bodies.
Candidate Profile
* Qualified lawyer with
8–12 years PQE gained in-house and/or in private practice with international exposure.
* Strong track record of advising on commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters in a B2C or automotive/manufacturing/industrial setting.
* Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to balance legal risk with business priorities.
* Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and managing cross-border matters.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to build trust and influence at all levels of the business.
* Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach with a passion for enabling business growth.
* Experience supporting transformation or change initiatives within a legal or corporate environment is an advantage.
