The role
As a senior sous chef you will ensure the section your working on is ready for service, you will support the head chef in the running of the kitchen. This is a hands on role, it will include running a section and some days running the pass. You will prep the fridge ready for service and cook to a good rosette level in service. This role will include all the standard senior Sous chef duties.
Experience
As a senior sous chef you will have a good standard, fresh food background. you will have good knife skills, attention to detail and a passion for good standards. You will have a good understanding of rosette level of cookery. You might be a current sous chef or a junior sous chef ready to step up, this is ideal for a sous chef ready to step up to senior sous chef level.
