Job Overview
Employment Adviser – support unemployed jobseekers, manage Restart Scheme, deliver tailored support.
Key Responsibilities
* Take ownership of caseload of long‑term unemployed participants, identify barriers and create tailored action plans.
* Deliver personalised one‑to‑one guidance, including CV writing, interview preparation and skills development.
* Collaborate with participants to shift mindset, build confidence and find sustainable work.
* Engage local employers to identify job opportunities and promote the Restart Scheme within the community.
* Signpost participants to internal and external stakeholders to address barriers such as health, housing or financial challenges.
* Meet and exceed performance targets and KPIs.
Qualifications
* Coaching/mentoring experience and persuasion/influencing skills through previous work or social activities.
* Experience working in a customer‑facing, performance‑target driven environment.
* Willingness to travel locally.
* Minimum of 2 A‑Levels or equivalent Level3 Diploma & GradeB GCSE English.
* Or Level2 Literacy Assessment at interview stage.
* Fluency in more than one language (desirable).

Pay Range £28,000 to £30,000. Working Hours: Full‑time, part‑time considered.
