We are recruiting for an experienced Home Manager to lead an established nursing home within a well-regarded care group. This is a stable service with a settled resident community and strong foundations in place, offering the incoming manager the opportunity to focus on leadership, quality and team development.
The Role
As Home Manager, you will have full responsibility for the overall leadership and performance of the home. You will work closely with your management team to maintain high standards of care, ensure regulatory compliance, and continue to build a positive, supportive culture for residents and staff.
This role would suit a confident and experienced manager who enjoys leading established services, values structure and governance, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Full operational and regulatory responsibility for the home
Ensuring ongoing CQC compliance and inspection readiness
Leading, developing and supporting the management and care teams
Maintaining strong governance, audit and quality assurance frameworks
Managing occupancy, admissions and relationships with key stakeholders
Budget management, staffing oversight and cost control
Building positive relationships with residents, families and professionals
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience as a Home Manager within a nursing or residential care setting
Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
Nurse qualification desirable but not essential
Confident, visible leader with a people-focused approach
Commercially aware with experience managing established services
