(SEN) Tutor – Wellingborough

Do you believe every child deserves the opportunity to succeed — no matter their challenges? We are seeking a committed and adaptable SEN Tutor to support learners in the Wellingborough area who require tailored educational provision outside of, or alongside, mainstream school.
About the Opportunity
You will provide bespoke tuition to pupils with additional needs, helping them re-engage with education and achieve their individual learning goals. Many of the young people we support may have:
* EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)
* Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
* ADHD
* Anxiety or SEMH needs
* Gaps in education due to absence or exclusion
Tuition is delivered on a 1:1 basis, either in the student’s home, a school setting, or an agreed community venue.
Your Responsibilities
* Deliver structured, engaging lessons tailored to the pupil’s ability and needs
* Break down learning into manageable, confidence-building steps
* Track progress against agreed academic or EHCP outcomes
* Provide feedback reports to parents, schools, or local authorities
* Create a safe, consistent, and supportive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
* QTS, PGCE, or relevant UK teaching/tutoring experience
* Experience supporting pupils with SEN in educational settings
* Strong behaviour management and emotional awareness
* Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
* Access to transport for travel within Wellingborough
