Location: Havencourt Care Home, Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire. Contract: Part Time. Salary: £19.76 Per Hour. Shift type: Days. Contracted hours: 23 hours.
Havencourt Care Home provides Residential, Nursing, and Dementia care for up to 42 residents. We are looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse who can lead with clinical excellence and holistic care, while upholding dignity and respect for residents.
Responsibilities
* Craft Personalized Care Plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Maintain accurate, legal, and clear care documentation.
* Lead each shift by organizing and guiding the team to deliver high-quality care.
* Oversee shift handovers to ensure continuity of care.
* Monitor health, perform routine observations, and manage specific health needs with attention to safety.
* Safely administer medications in accordance with MAR sheets and protocols.
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Support resident independence with appropriate hands-on assistance.
* Respond to feedback and prioritise resident health and well-being.
* Uphold dignity and respect for every resident and advocate for their needs and preferences.
* Encourage engagement and social activities to enrich residents’ lives.
* Maintain a safe environment and monitor health and safety at all times.
* Support nutrition and hydration for residents at risk of weight changes or dehydration.
* Respond to emergencies promptly and participate in on-call procedures to improve care processes.
About You
* You’re a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN.
* Care home experience is a plus, but a genuine passion for improving residents’ lives is essential.
* You naturally connect with residents, families, and colleagues, bringing warmth, understanding, and a calm, patient demeanor.
* Strong communication skills with clarity, empathy, and respect when engaging with residents, families, and the care team.
