What you’ll do
* Work in a multi-disciplinary design, product, and engineering team to develop and lead the research strategy for a key area of the business.
* Be supported by the wider Design Research and Analytics community and manage the research plan and roadmap for your service or product area.
* Deliver research to solve customer problems, unlock new opportunities, and guide what is created.
* Engage in a range of research across the product development lifecycle, from generative to evaluative research.
What you’ll need
* Extensive design research expertise with practical application of a broad range of research techniques.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, collaborating with teams to understand business objectives and address hypotheses with research proposals and plans.
* Ability to identify key insights from research and convey them in an influential way; lead by example in advocating for good research practices.
* Ability to lead the strategic insight agenda in your domain and design studies to understand future customer needs, ensuring designers have relevant insights.
* Strong project management capabilities; able to supervise and deliver multiple projects concurrently.
* Experience working with data analysts to demonstrate both quantitative and qualitative insights for customer-centred decisions.
* Experience with quantitative design research methods.
* Knowledge of and experience advocating for accessibility and inclusive design.
* Experience leading a team of researchers, including task management, mentoring, and support.
