Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting child health services? We’re looking for a dedicated Child Health Screening Assistant to join our dynamic team within the Inner Moray Firth Operational Unit at NHS Highland.
In this vital role, you’ll help deliver population-wide child health screening and immunisation programmes across NHS Highland, contributing to the well-being of over 40,000 children. Working closely with GPs, Health Visitors, School Nurses, Vaccination and Health Protection Teams, supporting the accurate administration and quality delivery of our Child Health System.
What You’ll Do:
Maintain and update child health records and systems, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
Coordinate with health professionals and education authorities to ensure all children are included in screening programmes.
Assist in the roll-out of new national and local screening initiatives. Generate reports to support business delivery.
Provide confidential and responsive support to professionals and the public.
What You’ll Bring:
A good standard of education (e.g., NVQ level or equivalent) and at least two years’ admin or office experience.
Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word.
Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage workloads and meet tight deadlines.
A team-player mindset with a professional, friendly approach.
