Job Overview
We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and confident Press Officer to join our dynamic London-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 4–5 years of PR experience—either as a Junior Press Officer in-house or as an Account Manager at a PR agency—ideally with a background in the automotive industry.
You’ll be a key player in supporting the PR and Communications functions of the brands, delivering our press and media communications, telling compelling stories about our brands, products, and people. You’ll craft sharp press releases, develop impactful press packs, support internal comms, and help us build strong relationships with the media.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the cross-departmental planning process for all write and distribute press releases, press packs, and internal communications.
* Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts.
* Support the planning and execution of media events, product launches, and press drives.
* Assist with crisis communications and day-to-day media enquiries.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging.
* Track coverage, prepare reports, and monitor media sentiment.
* Represent the company at UK and international events.
Requirements:
* 4–5 years' experience in PR (agency or in-house), ideally in the automotive or transport sector.
* A confident, goal-oriented communicator who thrives under pressure.
* Proficient in writing for a range of audiences—clear, engaging, and accurate.
* Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and excellent organisational skills.
* Strong media network or knowledge of the UK motoring press landscape is a plus.
* A full UK driving licence is essential.
* Able and willing to travel frequently, including internationally.
