The Role
The Role – We’re seeking a motivated, energetic Business Development Manager who thrives on hunting for new business and building strong client relationships. You’ll be on the front line of our growth, introducing Nollie to restaurants, bars, and hospitality groups — primarily in Glasgow and Edinburgh, with opportunities to expand across the UK. This role is perfect for someone who gets a buzz from winning new accounts, loves the hospitality industry, and wants to be part of an exciting AI-driven SaaS start-up from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
* Prospect, identify, and close new business with restaurants and hospitality venues.
* Meet with potential clients in person and online to understand their challenges and present tailored solutions.
* Deliver engaging product demonstrations that showcase how Nollie can drive retention, visits, and spend.
* Negotiate contracts and manage the sales process from lead to close.
* Work closely with the founding team to refine messaging and sales strategies.
* Represent Nollie at industry events and networking opportunities.
* Keep accurate pipeline records and sales forecasts in our HubSpot CRM.
Qualifications
* 3+ years in B2B sales, business development, or account management (hospitality tech or SaaS preferred).
* Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
* Comfortable with outbound prospecting and self-generating leads.
* Passion for the hospitality industry and understanding of restaurant operations is a plus.
* Willingness to travel within the UK as required.
* Entrepreneurial mindset — adaptable, proactive, and hungry to succeed in a start-up.
