Supply Teacher - Romford, London Borough of Havering Location: Romford and surrounding areas (Havering) Job Type: Daily Supply / Short-Term / Long-Term Cover Salary: £130-£220 per day (dependent on experience, role, and responsibility) We are working in partnership with a wide range of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across Romford and the wider Havering area who are seeking dedicated and adaptable Supply Teachers to provide high-quality classroom cover. This role is ideal for experienced teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and retired or returning teachers who are looking for flexible working arrangements without the demands of a permanent position. About the Role: As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning when permanent staff are absent. Assignments may range from day-to-day cover to short- and long-term placements, depending on your availability and preferences. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering pre-planned lessons across your subject specialism or key stage Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Supporting pupils with varying learning needs and abilities Following school safeguarding procedures at all times Providing brief feedback to staff at the end of the day or placement Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Previous experience teaching in UK schools (preferred but not essential for ECTs) Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Confidence to adapt quickly to new school environments A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply A professional, reliable, and flexible approach to work Why Work With Us: We understand the importance of matching teachers to the right schools.
