Job Title: Housing Management Coordinator

Salary: £25,838 per annum [pro rata] plus benefits including Health Cash Plan
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team in Luton. As our housing and property expert, you'll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. You will provide a housing management service, supporting tenants to manage their tenancies and rent accounts.
Typical Day
* Supporting older people (over 55s) and engaging with tenants to ensure their properties are good homes.
* Assisting customers with housing benefit claims and managing rent accounts.
* Issuing and signing warning letters and notices, including attending court when necessary.
* Preparing rooms for new tenants and ensuring maximum occupancy by turning around vacant properties within set timescales.
* Ensuring health and safety compliance and maintenance standards are met.
What You Bring
* Experience managing a housing caseload and overseeing landlord duties.
* Knowledge of re-letting rooms or units, rent collection, and tenancy actions.
* Ability to lead and support team members.
* Proactive, well-organized, and capable of working independently.
* Excellent collaboration skills with colleagues and external partners.
