What You'll Do
In the capacity of Disease Litigation Solicitor based in Birmingham, you will:
* Independently oversee a portfolio of litigated noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) claims with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all files progress in accordance with client expectations and regulatory standards.
* Provide substantive assistance to Partners and Associates on intricate and high-value cases, particularly those involving asbestos-related claims, by contributing thorough analysis and insight.
* Draft detailed strategy reports and comprehensive advices to inform case direction and secure optimal outcomes for clients.
* Conduct rigorous legal research and investigations to underpin case arguments while maintaining current knowledge of relevant legislation and judicial developments.
* Prepare precise pleadings and attend conferences, court hearings, and client meetings as necessary to represent client interests with utmost professionalism.
* Communicate with clarity and courtesy when liaising with clients, counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process, thereby fostering enduring relationships.
* Engage proactively in business development initiatives and profile-raising activities aligned with relevant sector groups within the firm.
* Complete all client-related and internal management information procedures accurately to support operational excellence.
* Consistently achieve established financial targets as well as chargeable hours objectives whilst upholding exemplary standards in all work undertaken.
* Adhere rigorously to deadlines, service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), policies, procedures, and the core values espoused by the organisation.
