SRS Recruitment Solutions is one of the UK’s leading Construction Product Recruiters and we are delighted to be assisting our client in their search for an AREA SALES MANAGER.
Our client is a leading Joinery Manufacturer & Distributor and, due to expansion, they are seeking a dynamic individual to join their sales team. Ideally the candidate will have experience in Joinery Products and strong sales skills. Experience in the Builders / Timber Merchant sector would be an advantage, providing a good understanding of the construction sector.
Reporting to: SALES DIRECTOR
As AREA SALES MANAGER you will work closely with the sales team and clients, ensuring all proposals meet client specifications within their budget while maximizing sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Selling a comprehensive range of high‑quality joinery products
* Quoting and costing customer requirements
* Understanding customer needs and requirements
* Organising your own diary, visiting clients to maximise productivity and territory coverage
* Growing and developing relationships with Merchants & Retailers and expanding your accounts
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
* Proven experience in sales, ideally within the Joinery sector
* General construction knowledge essential, including Joinery / Fire Doors / Door Sets
* Self‑motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
* Confident and professional telephone manner
* Effective communication skills
* Customer focused with sound commercial skills
* Good IT skills & PC literacy and experience
