Legal Secretary Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our team in Caerphilly. As a Legal Secretary, you will provide administrative support to solicitors and partners in child and family care cases.
* Manage legal documents, schedules, and client communications using Osprey Case Management software.
* Schedule appointments and meetings, and communicate with clients in a professional manner.
* Transcribe legal correspondence accurately using digital dictation.
* Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong IT skills, including fast typing (70 - 80 wpm).
Responsibilities and Requirements
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Preparing and managing legal documents, including court papers and agreements.
* Coordinating schedules and meetings, and communicating with clients and other stakeholders.
* Handling sensitive information discreetly and maintaining confidentiality.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in legal support, preferably in child and family care cases.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in digital dictation and Microsoft Office.
* Typing speed of 70 - 80 wpm.
* Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
