We're committed to continuously improving services at Guinness. Our Customer Insight Team are responsible for analysing data collected from our residents, and building predictive data models to help us anticipate what we need to do to best improve resident satisfaction.
We are seeking an experienced Research Analyst to join our Customer Insight Team based in our central Oldham office on a full time, permanent basis.
We appreciate that flexibility is important, therefore we operate a hybrid working model. You will work in the office for 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week.
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Head of Customer Insight to provide high ‑ quality research, analysis and project support across a wide range of business initiatives. The role requires strategic decision ‑ making and contributes to the development of evidence ‑ based business cases.
The role also involves working with the business to develop and maintain a resource of internal and external data and information, including details of equality and diversity issues, to support research and analysis projects, and the production of reports and presentations for managers and directors.

Essential
You will be able to demonstrate:
Experience working both independently and as part of a team to deliver high quality, evidence based reports to fixed deadlines.
Proven ability to apply analytical and research methods to understand business performance or marketing related challenges.
Understanding of how to design and conduct market research projects.
Strong facilitation and negotiation skills.
Clear, confident communication and presentation abilities.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Desirable
Understanding of the current policy environment, or experience of working, in the public sector or social housing.
Knowledge of Tableau or Power BI
Interest in data science approaches
Essential Qualifications
Educated to degree level and/or relevant professional experience.
