Overview
Residential – New Roads Service – Norwich Hub. Young people are at the heart of our practice. We work with whole family networks and across the whole system to support families to build on their strengths and to achieve the best possible outcomes. Through Vital Signs, our vision for Children in Norfolk, we provide intensive short-term interventions to prevent entry into care, escalation to long term care, prevent placement breakdown or facilitate placement step downs.
Responsibilities
* Proactively provide support and interventions to families and young people so they can achieve the best possible outcomes through implementing the New Roads and Emergency Crisis Support services.
* Contribute to the care planning process by participating in statutory reviews, planning meetings, and progress meetings as required.
* Engage in building strong relationships with children, demonstrating good listening, patience, and understanding.
* Complete required training and achieve NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care within 18 months of appointment if not already held.
* Possess a full driving licence and daily access to a vehicle.
Qualifications and requirements
* Good literacy and numeracy skills.
* Willingness to undertake relevant training courses.
* Ability to form effective relationships with children.
* NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care (if not held, training will be supported and must be completed within 18 months).
* Passion to support young people to achieve the best possible outcomes.
* Full driving licence and daily access to a vehicle.
Salary and conditions
Permanent contract, 37 hours per week, £31,537 to £33,699 per annum plus weekend enhancements and sleep in payments. Grade G. Location: Norwich. Related service: New Roads Service.
