Assistant Commercial Manager

What Will You Be Doing?
1. Supporting the team with day-to-day commercial tasks and helping ensure we meet contract requirements.
2. Assisting with maintenance work approvals, emergency notifications, and invoicing.
3. Helping manage insurance claims by gathering information and supporting negotiations.
4. Working with finance teams to ensure costs are tracked and invoiced correctly.
5. Contributing to training sessions and briefings to build your commercial knowledge.
6. Keeping track of important correspondence and updates.
7. Assisting with pricing, productivity analysis, and market research.
8. Helping produce reports and update service documentation.
9. Supporting the creation of tenancy agreements and other legal documents.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with previous experience working within the Facilities Management industry, ideally within a Junior or Assistant Commercial or Quantity Surveyor position. You will also hold:
10. Great communication skills – written and verbal.
11. A keen eye for detail and a basic understanding of financial principles.
12. Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
13. Ideally studying towards or holding a qualification in Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying.
14. A willingness to learn about contracts and commercial processes.
15. PFI experience is ideal but not essential.
