Sterile Services Lead Technician
Nuffield Health Cambridge HSSU Hub | Sterile Services | Permanent | Full Time
Up to £27,179.10 per annum + unsocial hours payments
37.5 hours per week

Our team at Nuffield Health Cambridge HSSU currently have an opportunity for a Sterile Services Lead Technician on our rotational shift pattern, working 08.00-16.00 and 14.00-22.00 plus weekend working. Continue your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best.
As a Sterile Services Lead Technician, you will be responsible for:
Assisting in the supply of sterile and/or disinfected medical devices to meet customer requirements.
Mentoring and support less experienced members of the team
Managing a team of decontamination technicians to maintain the delivery of a high quality decontamination service within the HSSU.
As a Sterile Services Lead Technician, you will have:
Evidence of sterile services training.
Proactively committed to developing own personal skills, knowledge and behavior's. Supports others in their development.
Communicates appropriately and effectively on straightforward subject matters.
Records information correctly and undertakes basic data processing.
Respects and supports colleagues in own and other departments.
Ensure own work meets the required standards, encourages the same in others and proactively identifies improvement opportunities.
Effectively monitors and maintains working environments and equipment/medical devices.
Experience as a Sterile Services in a Supervisory Role is essential.
Team-leadership experience needed.
