Technical Systems and Business Support Officer (8213) | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £25,584 to £27,269 per annum | (Grade E) | Bowthorpe, Norwich
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) works to protect and serve the community by making Norfolk as safe as possible. This involves responding to fires and emergencies, enforcing fire safety regulations, and promoting fire prevention and education.
The service relies on robust technical business systems to support our operations and our Technical Business Systems Support Officers provide administrative support to those systems and integrate support across various departments such as districts, training, people support, and prevention and protection. The role sits within the Prevention and Protection service area and reports to the Technical Business Support Team Lead.
Role
We currently have vacancies at our headquarters in Wymondham and our training centre in Bowthorpe. These roles will have a focus on supporting our training, competence, recruitment, and engagement functions, whilst also providing administrative support to the wider service such as:
* managing public and internal enquiries, ordering goods and services, arranging audit processes, organisational planning and scheduling
* maintenance of information within specified office or business systems and support effective business processes
* Ensure accurate data input and output for technical business systems, maintaining data integrity and security. Manage and organise records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible
* Provide general administrative support, including note and minute-taking for meetings, interviews, and hearings. Support project and programme management administration
