About the Role
Bury College Education Trust is seeking to appoint positive and energetic Special Support Assistants to work at Park View Primary School. There are two temporary positions until 31st August 2025, as the roles are subject to and directly linked to the funding stream for SEND.

Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a dedicated individual to provide tailored support to our pupils. You will be committed to making a positive difference in young people's lives and supporting their learning. Your intervention will help create an outstanding learning environment, providing the support they need to succeed.
The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to support learning and teaching effectively and develop relationships across our school and the BCET community.
You will have:
* NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent
* Experience of working with children in a school setting
* Experience of working with children with SEND
* The ability to maintain positive relationships with pupils and other adults
* The ability to work with pupils one-to-one, in small groups, and in whole-class settings

Grade 6 Actual Salary £16,718 (Term time only, 30 hours per week) and
Grade 6 Actual Salary £10,031 (Term time only, 18 hours per week)
These are temporary positions until 31st August 2025, linked to the funding stream for SEND.
