Main duties of the job
Working with the Service Manager and Community Development Worker for Stepladder and reporting into the PR & Communications Manager, to shape, develop and deliver the Stepladder Communications Strategy which supports the objectives of Second Steps plan for the Stepladder project and its overarching Strategic Plan.

Job responsibilities
Create and develop a communications plan for our innovative mens mental health project, Stepladder Support the projects community development goals to help individuals and organisations to build connections and networks for men across the county Tell engaging stories to raise awareness of Stepladder, the work it does including distributing grants via the Winston Innovation Fund to encourage new and inspiring groups and activities.
Person Specification
Experience
Essential
1. A minimum of two years significant experience working with people with moderate to severe mental health needs.
2. Proven experience of working within a housing environment.
3. Experience of working with people who have experienced multiple disadvantages ( mental health, homelessness, alcohol/drug dependency long term conditions)
4. Experience of working with people with long-term mental health and complex needs including complex trauma, Learning Difficulties, neurodiverse needs and SEND.
5. Experience of carrying out needs and/or risk assessments and the support planning process.
6. You will be practiced at working alongside people using a holistic approach tailored to each individuals needs
7. Experience of time management and competing priorities when supporting people with complex needs.
