TEACHING ASSISTANT
Salary: Grade 4, SCP 5 - 6 (£24,790 – £25,183) Actual salary £17,656 – £17,936 approx. depending on years of service
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: Term Time only (38 pupil weeks). Additional time may be required on INSET days for training which will receive an additional payment
Monday to Friday 8.45am – 12.15pm and 1.30 pm – 3.30 pm (27.5 hrs per week)

We are seeking to appoint an experienced & enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils in KS2 and to run interventions for pupils one to one or in small groups. Experience in Years 5 and 6 would be desirable, but not essential.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of the class teacher usually in the classroom with the teacher.
We are looking for someone who:

* Has good verbal and written communication skills

* Has recent and relevant experience of working within a KS2 classroom environment
* Has the ability to inspire and engage the pupils through their tasks
