We’re working with a well-established and highly regarded chartered accountancy firm in Croydon who are looking to expand their growing tax team. With around 30 staff and excellent staff retention, this firm offers a stable and collaborative environment where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.
You’ll be joining a close-knit tax team, taking ownership of a varied personal tax portfolio and building long-term relationships with clients. This role is ideal for someone who’s ambitious, proactive, and looking for clear progression — with a view to stepping into a Tax Manager position in the near future.
What you’ll be doing:
Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, including HNWIs, directors, and sole traders
Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns
Assisting with ad hoc advisory and planning work as you progress
Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in a personal tax role within an accountancy practice
ATT qualified or working towards qualification (ACA/ACCA or CTA support available if desired)
A positive attitude and strong communication skills
Keen interest in developing into a Tax Manager role in the near future
