This varied role supports the smooth day-to-day running of our College Libraries at both the Rotherfield and Deanfield (Cuthbert Suite) campuses.You will play a key part in creating a welcoming, supportive, and studious environment for our students and staff. The role involves assisting with issuing and receiving library materials, maintaining an orderly and quiet study space, and supporting library users with basic enquiries.**Main Responsibilities**Issue and receive books and other library materials.Respond to simple and routine enquiries from students and staff.Supervise private study areas and help maintain a quiet, productive library atmosphere.Shelve, tidy, and care for library materials.Process and prepare new books for circulation.Work regularly at both the Rotherfield and Deanfield Libraries as scheduled by the Senior Librarian.Create and maintain engaging library displays and assist with research and photocopying relevant information.**About You**We’re looking for someone who is:Friendly, approachable, and committed to excellent customer service.Organised and detail-oriented, with good communication skills.Able to maintain a calm and focused atmosphere in a busy learning environment.Comfortable using IT systems and library software (training provided).The Henley College is a leading sixth form college, serving young people and adult learners from across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire.
