Project ManageR/ Data Engagement Manager Rate: £450£490 per day (Inside IR35) Duration: 6 months Clearance Required: Active SC Clearance Location: Mostly Remote (Telford 2 days per month onsite) Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Engagement Manager / Project Manager to lead the delivery of a highly complex data and technology programme within a large public-sector data environment. This role will involve managing the end-to-end delivery of a critical data project, working closely with internal delivery teams, government stakeholders, and multiple third-party suppliers across Design, Analysis, Build, and Test phases. You will be responsible for integrating delivery across multiple workstreams, managing dependencies, risks, budgets, and ensuring successful transition into live service. Key Responsibilities Lead the execution and delivery of a complex data project using agile delivery methodologies Own and manage project plans, schedules, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones Establish and maintain a strong delivery rhythm across multiple delivery teams Ensure products are delivered to the appropriate quality standards at each delivery stage Manage and engage senior stakeholders and suppliers to ensure effective collaboration Own financial management including forecasting, budgets, and change control Lead, motivate, and support multiple multi-disciplinary teams Predict and manage resourcing requirements to support delivery outcomes Produce clear, concise project reporting and communications Support proposal writing and impact assessments for work packages and statements of work Manage service transition and handover into live operations Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience delivering large-scale IT or data programmes Strong risk, issue, and dependency management capability Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills Commercial and financial management experience Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary delivery teams Experience delivering using Agile / iterative methodologies Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence Experience transitioning large projects into live service Ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities Active SC Clearance Desirable (Not Essential) Previous delivery experience within large public-sector programmes Experience supporting bids or working with sales / proposal teams Professional Scrum Master or SAFe certification Understanding of DevOps and modern product/feature team models Delivery assurance or engagement management background If this role matches with your background and skills, apply today!
