About the Company
Based in Kingston upon Hull with modern, purpose-built offices my client is a highly respected privately owned manufacturing organisation providing construction solutions to a wide range of sectors including healthcare, infrastructure, education and Leisure. As part of the continued evolution of the systems administration team, the need has arisen to recruit a Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Systems Advisor.
The Role
The role will support the SHEQ Department to develop, maintain and continually improve Integrated Management System across quality, environment and health & safety. As a member of the SHEQ team you will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, meets the standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and is consistently audit-ready. You will act as a trusted partner to operational teams, translating standards into clear ways of working, providing coaching and practical support, and using data to drive performance improvement.
Responsibilities
Keep policies, procedures and forms current; ensure version control, accessibility and effective communication of changes.
Maintain legal registers and compliance calendars; monitor changes in legislation and ensure timely updates to processes.
Plan and deliver a risk

based internal audit programme; coordinate external certification audits; manage NCRs/OFIs to sustainable closure.
Analyse trends, conduct root-cause investigations and drive corrective/preventive actions that address underlying causes.
Prepare robust inputs (performance data, stakeholder feedback, audit results, legal status, objectives progress) and track decisions to completion.
Define meaningful KPIs across quality, environmental and safety performance; maintain dashboards and monthly reports.
Provide evidence for tenders/PQQs; support client audits and information requests; ensure timely, accurate submissions.
Conduct supplier prequalification and surveillance; verify alignment with contractual and IMS requirements.
Administer SharePoint/QMS/Safety Culture platforms; manage permissions and workflows; promote data integrity and user adoption.
Provide on-site readiness checks, start-up reviews and stage-gate compliance support as needed.
Candidate Profile
My client is looking for a business administration professional with experience of working with Quality Management Systems ideally in the manufacturing, construction or Engineering sector.
Skills
ISO 9001 Auditor trained or related experience.
Strong auditing skills and experience.
Experience with Quality Control Plans.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Proven team management experience.
